OnBase 8.2 is Now Available:

OnBase 8.2 has been released and is now generally available to the OnBase Community! A release announcement will be sent soon detailing changes, new modules and enhancements as well as their benefits. The announcement will include new solutions for use with Microsoft SharePoint.

LibertyNET 9.0

Hyland Software is pleased to announce the availability of LibertyNET 9.0. Developed as part of Hyland Software's commitment to users of the LibertyNET application suite, this maintenance release addresses issues with earlier versions that were identified in the field. This latest version brings the enterprise-class features of the OnBase Web Server to LibertyNET users. LibertyNET users can access their documents through the OnBase Web interface. In addition to providing seamless access to documents and workflow processes over the Web, the OnBase Web Server allows organizations to leverage their investments in LibertyNET while migrating documents into OnBase document types. In this way, the OnBase Web Server also helps ease the conversion from LibertyNET to OnBase by providing access to both LibertyNET and OnBase documents from the same user interface. Users can begin training on the OnBase interface and still utilize documents from LibertyNET throughout the conversion process. Once the conversion is complete, there is little impact to the end user. LibertyNET 9.0 Release Notes are available from your solution provider or account manager. .

Digitech PaperVision Capture

Digitech Systems is proud to announce the release of PaperVision Capture R67, which enhances user management, streamlines job definition and batch management, and simplifies operator tasks. With the new version, you can:

- Move users from an available users list to a group members list in the enhanced group management interface

- Simplify job setup by cloning job definitions for similar projects and by identifying potential errors because invalid steps are highlighted

- Ensure quality images by previewing image processing results while setting up the filters and use saved previews to configure additional steps

- Save storage space by deleting blank pages based on file size during image processing

- Automatically break documents based on detection of a blank page

- Streamline batch management by moving multiple batches to a different job step, deleting batches by right-clicking, and viewing additional details in the Batch History information

- Export, print or delete documents from the browse batch grid, which presents all index values for all documents in a batch

- Keep track of everything you need by printing Batch Statistics

- Take advantage of new export scripts' ability to append to existing output locations as well as select the source job step and color depth of the exported images

- Use a new sample script to setup an import for ASCII text with images

- Improved scanning performance makes your business run more quickly

In addition to the dozens of other significant enhancements, when PaperVision Capture is being used in demonstration mode, all images are now watermarked when the batch is submitted for processing (rather than during the scan or import process). R67 is available as a free upgrade to current PaperVision Capture users with up-to-date maintenance.
